AHA Workshops - Watercolor Essentials

This class will cover everything you need to understand to successfully having fun instead of finding frustration painting in watercolor.

If you miss a class you will always be able to watch the video from the zoom class and additional videos will be available whenever you have time to go watch them

all videos will be available for you straight on a page only accessible to the students in the group/class

A passwrod is needed.

In this 3 week class we will cover:

*A variety of papers suitable for different watercolor techniques

*The difference in brands and qualities of watercolor.

*And last but not least- brushes!

You can work with the material you have- if you are a complete beginner - ask and I will let you know what you need - 3 colors, one brush and 4 different single sheets of paper.

My recommended minimum palette would be bright colors: W&N Artist - Winsor lemon, Permanent Rose and Winsor Blue (red shade).

Brush - Da Vinci Maestro, No 35 (extra point) size 4, 5, 6 or 7 depending on you!

Papers: *Fabriano Artistico, 140lb, rough,* Arches 140lb, fine, * Daler Rowney LANGTON, 140lb, rough or fine. One single sheet maximum of these and you are set to go. We will divide the papers into smaller pieces and go through that process as well - for this you need a metal ruler.
